Animal Rescue Policy

The Tuscarawas County Humane Society is the only organization in our county with a court appointed humane officer. We investigate many forms of animal cruelty and neglect such as (but not limited to): abuse, abandonment, hoarding, puppy mills and livestock treatment.

  1. All calls are confidential, regardless of if you leave your name or not.
  2. Please give an address or directions to the location of the animal in need.
  3. Please speak slowly and clearly so we can understand all the information.
  4. Please leave a detailed message about the problem you are reporting.
